I'm going to show you how to make money on the internet. You see, there's a lot of misinformation out there, all offering you $5,000 per month with this vehicle or that method. Today, I'm going to show you how to make $5,000 each month by writing, even if you're a complete newbie. When I talk to most individuals about writing, I also ask them, "How do you expect to make money writing?"" They'll say things like, "Oh, I'm thinking about writing some articles, a book, and other things like that. Most of the writers I speak with have what I refer to as a poverty mindset.

They don't believe you should make money as a writer; instead, they feel you should struggle. Most authors don't make a lot of money, and you're right, most writers don't make a lot of money. They feel that in order to make a lot of money as a writer, you have to be a famous author. That simply isn't the case. There are many distinct types of writing, as you can see. What I believe is the most successful sort of writing is what I call High Income Copywriting, which is writing for businesses and companies. Some call it copywriting, some call it business writing, but I call it High Income Copywriting.

What distinguishes this style of writing from others? Because companies aren't paying you for the words you write; they're paying you because your writing will bring them more customers, leads, and income. For instance, you could be creating a description for an e-commerce product. That description will aid in the sale of more goods. Or you're creating emails for them, and those emails are going to assist them bringing in more customers, or landing pages, or sales pages, or something like that. You're writing to achieve a goal. So, let me give you an illustration. Let's pretend you're charging $100 per piece. Let's imagine you want to make $5,000 a year by writing 100 articles.

So, what does that imply? Isn't that what it means? You have to write how many? There are 50 articles in all. It takes 50 articles to earn $5,000 per month, and that's a lot of articles. And I was putting together a small portfolio, so I'd go to networking events, business networking events, celebrations, and meetings where business owners congregate. I would hand out business cards and try to drum up some business; some would hire me, while others would not since I was a young man. I spoke with an accent that made me wonder who this person was. As a result, it was quite challenging.

I was also doing a lot of what I term "speculative" work. It's the equivalent of building a house on the cheap. That is, I would write something and not get paid upfront; instead, if what I wrote is profitable, I would be paid a set amount of money. Some of those transactions were profitable, while others were not. I was not compensated. So, I did it the hard way for a long time, right? It was almost good eight, nine months, and it didn't really work. There is, however, an easier option, which is to shadow a master copywriter. Follow in the footsteps of someone who has previously established credibility.

Follow in the footsteps of someone who already has a client base and a proven track record. Guess what you're lacking the most in the beginning when you're a complete beginner? Credibility and track record are important, and the easiest method to get a track record is to borrow someone else's track record. This is how it works. When you shadow a master copywriter, you'll see that he or she has a name, credibility, and market impact. He or she receives clients on a regular basis and charges a set fee.

What you want to do is work as a junior, and you'll receive what I refer to as spillover clients.  Jot it down, and tell your clients. So, let's pretend the copywriter is costing $5,000 for a campaign. So you'd walk in and say something like that "What's more, guess what? How many folks wouldn't be able to afford $5,000?" Isn't it true that most individuals couldn't afford $5,000? The master copywriter receives a large number of applications and chances. What happened to those chances? Now you can be right there to take advantage of those possibilities and maybe you can't pay $5,000, but here's an apprentice I have, he's a mentee I've taught, right."

He costs $2,000 for his services. Now, he's not as good as me, but where I'm a ten out of ten, he's an eight out of ten, a seven out of ten, but at a cheaper cost of $2,000, he's a two out of ten. Now, many of those people may say, "Well, you know what, I can't afford $5,000, but I do need some assistance." I'm willing to pay the $2,000 in full. Let's say you get $2,000 for writing something when that happens. The project is the same. Then you take $500 and pay it to the person who is mentoring you, correct? Simply pay that individual. You have $1,500 in your pocket and no need to wait. You just establish an immediate track record and begin earning money while you learn. In contrast, how can you establish credibility if you aren't obtaining clients or producing work? The only way to improve is to put in the effort. But it seems like I can't find a job because I don't have enough experience at first. But how will I gain experience if I don't obtain any gigs? This way, you'll be able to acquire work and make money as you go. And if you have a couple of these spillover clients, you're off and running and it doesn't take a lot of clients to get you there. Occasionally, one or two, that, to me, is the quickest route, and that is exactly what I did, right? Isn't it true that I shadowed my mentor, Alan? Who taught me how to write copy? I wasn't smart enough in the beginning. I planned to go there and attempt to attract clients and do all of these things, and I did a lot of them. But this is the quickest method to generate referrals when someone talks to my mentor and they can't afford him. I just capture all the spillover clients and I've got a small business going.
